Energy Conservation Project for Sustainability

We have set strategies for stable business growth and sustainable progress. The company is committed to using energy for maximum benefits by developing energy efficiency and reducing resource waste in every process, in addition to inspecting and maintaining equipment in the production process, and creating awareness among employees to emphasize worthwhile use of resources.
We adhere to sustainable development approaches with consideration to the economy, society and the environment, while keeping in mind the impact of both external factors on the organization and impacts from inside the organization in order to accelerate the achievement of goals to create the most positive impact on the economy, society and environment.

We have also initiated many projects. For example, we promote the use of clean energy by installing solar panels with the aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to become a carbon neutral organization with net zero greenhouse gas emissions in the future.

The company has implemented several projects related to reducing air pollution in order to control air pollution both inside and around the factory areas to remain within legal standards.
Modern technologies have been adopted to reduce air pollution from the production process, such as electrostatic precipitators (ESP) and wet scrubber systems that reduce odors emitted from vents. Air quality is regularly monitored and observed by external laboratories to ensure strict legal compliance.

The company is committed to caring for and valuing water and natural resources through various projects that will help sustainably reduce environmental impacts.
The company currently uses water in the production process from the Noi River, with proper permission from the Department of Water Resources, by adhering to the 3 Rs principle: reduce water use (Reduce), reuse water (Reuse), and recycle treated wastewater (Recycle).

To prove that the company is operating sustainably and is concerned about the environment, the quality of treated water and surface water at the factory is analyzed every day by a laboratory registered with the Department of Industrial Works (R-361). Water quality is also analyzed by an external laboratory by once a month. In addition, there is continuous monitoring through the use of a water pollution monitoring system.

We are certified according to FSC CoC standard system by using 100% waste paper pulp that has been certified according to sustainable forest management standards and product chains (FSC-CoC) without cutting down trees or destroying the environment, in addition to not violating human rights in forestry operations, including non-use of illegal labor, while considering basic work rights in participating in sustainable forest preservation.
The company has a paper testing laboratory that has been certified according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. As a result, we can be confident in the accuracy of the test results at the international level. The company also has efficient management in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard, which enables us to produce quality products according to the standards desired by customers in addition to delivering products on time.

Due to the current global climate change, or “global warming”, severe ecological impacts have resulted, along with natural disasters and impacts on human health, etc.
The Company operates its business with awareness about this problem and is committed to reducing impacts from its operations. Therefore, we have applied to register our product carbon footprint (CFP) and applied for the Global Warming Reduction Label (CFR) with the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) to minimize impacts in order to achieve carbon neutrality and net zero emission in the future.

Since solar cell power generation technology is considered clean energy that can reduce the problem of global warming resulting from greenhouse gas emissions, a solar power project has been established to sustainably reduce the use of coal in the steam turbine power plant of the factory in the future.

When eucalyptus enters the wood chipper, leftover bark is obtained. The company recognizes that the leftover bark from the production process can be reused as fuel for the power plant by taking bark with high moisture content and passing it through a bark dryer to reduce its moisture content and then mixing it with coal for use as fuel, thus partially replacing coal. It is considered another source of fuel.

This is an energy saving and cost reduction project implemented by installing an inverter drive for motors with adjustable speed without affecting the production process of the factory. It supports the energy conservation project measures of the Ministry of Energy, which in the past have been able to reduce the electricity consumption, coal use and greenhouse gas emissions.
